About House of Wunder

House of Wunder is a luxury watch and jewelry house founded by Michael Wunderman. Its pieces are designed in an atelier in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Watches are crafted in Switzerland and jewelry is handcrafted in Córdoba, Spain. The house is known for dials cut from natural gemstones, among them malachite, howlite and azurmalachite, so that no two pieces are identical, and for a sculptural design language it describes as refined wild.

Who founded House of Wunder?

House of Wunder is the venture of Michael Wunderman, who leads its creative direction. He is the son of Severin Wunderman, the founder of Severin Montres, the company that designed and manufactured Gucci Timepieces and grew it into the most visible fashion watch brand in the world during the 1980s. Severin acquired the Swiss manufacture Corum in 2000 and launched the Bubble, and between 2000 and 2008 released more than 80 Bubble limited editions. Michael grew up inside that world and moved to Neuchâtel to help build it. House of Wunder carries the family name forward as his own house. Read the full story.

What does House of Wunder make?

Two categories. Watches, in the Amplifier collection (Mini and Midi sizes) and the Resound collection (Midi and Maxi sizes). And fine jewelry (bracelets, necklaces and earrings) in the Wunderflow and Flowing V collections. Every timepiece belongs to a limited series defined by its combination of dial stone, bracelet design, metal and size.

Where are House of Wunder pieces made?

Every piece is conceived by Michael Wunderman in the house's atelier in Palma de Mallorca. Watches are then crafted in Switzerland and pass a final hand inspection by an in-house watchmaker. Jewelry is handcrafted in Córdoba, Spain, a city with centuries of goldsmithing tradition and one of Europe's most respected centres of fine jewelry making.

What makes the dials unique?

The dials are cut from natural gemstones rather than manufactured from a uniform material. Because the stone is natural, variations in colour, pattern and reflection mean no two dials are ever exactly alike. Each watch is a one-of-a-kind piece even within its limited series.

What materials does House of Wunder use?

18KT yellow gold, stainless steel, diamonds, natural gemstones, and a proprietary alloy the house calls Sterling Silver enhanced with Platinum. Where standard sterling silver is 92.5% silver, this alloy is 93% pure silver, 6.5% platinum and 0.5% zinc, with the platinum giving a brighter, whiter lustre and greater resistance to tarnish.

How does House of Wunder source its materials?

The house works exclusively with suppliers certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) and compliant with Chain of Custody standards. Gemstones are ethically sourced from conflict-free origins with full traceability, and all gold used is recycled.

How is quality verified?

Watches are tested and certified under ISO/IEC 17025, the international standard for testing and calibration laboratories, covering accuracy, reliability and safety. Each piece also passes an in-house inspection before it leaves the atelier. Watches are water-resistant to 5 ATM; the house recommends a full service every three years and a seal check every two.

How is authenticity confirmed?

Every piece ships with a personalized card carrying a unique QR code. Scanning it opens that piece's digital passport, which confirms authenticity, activates the warranty and records service history. Registering a piece extends its warranty by a further two years.

Where can you buy House of Wunder?

Directly from this site, which ships worldwide, and through selected retail partners. Find a boutique. Orders ship free of charge Monday to Friday with full tracking; European orders typically arrive within a week and United States orders within 15 days. Returns are free within 14 days of delivery, provided the piece is unworn and in its original packaging.

Can pieces be personalized?

Yes. Complimentary engraving is available on selected watches and jewelry, with styles and placement varying by model, and size adjustments are offered on selected pieces. Contact the house for personalization requests.
